Kano State Government - In an effort by the Present Administration of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, OFR towards strengthening and consolidating institutional reforms for effective and efficient service delivery, Government has approved for the recruitment of potential candidates for various posts in the Kano State Board of Internal Revenue (KSBIR).

Key Function
- To provide legal advisory services to the board.
- To represent the Board Prosecution of revenue cases.
- Distaining and enforcement.
- Representing the Board on other legal matters.
- Liaison with the Ministry of Justice for the constitution of Revenue Tribunals/Courts for tax enforcement
- To serve as secretary of management/Board meetings taking
- Assisting in sensitization of Existing and Prospective taxpayers on the tax laws force
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the executive chairman or the BIR.
Academic Credentials:
- LLB, BL obtained from a recognized institution (s).
- Relevant professional Certificate(s) and membership of recognized professional bodies would be added advantage.
- The possession of information & Communication Technology skills and acquisition of related managerial competence for all posts will be added advantages to candidates.
- Background Career as Board Secretary and MUST have at least 10 years post call to the BAR. Experience in Commercial, Banking, Corporate, Administrative and Tax Laws would bean added advantage.
