Position: Logistics and Distribution Officer
Location: Ikeja
Responsibilities:
• Use the IT system for stock level analysis and plan for timely deliveries of stock to the stores.
• To coordinate and ensure effective merchandise replenishment and distribution processes between central warehouse and the stores.
• To ensure that merchandise sold are replaced in the stores in a timely manner to prevent backlogs.
• To assist in sorting and counting goods received from the suppliers.
• To assist in the proper tagging and shelving of goods received from suppliers.
• To assist the supervisor in general administrative responsibilities.
• To manage and file all correspondence received from other departments in the organisation and respond promptly.
• To manage and attend to special requests from the stores.
• Analyse stock replacement requests by investigating and analyzing sales history of the stores.
• To ensure that all necessary documents are duly signed and properly filed.
• To prepare and submit summarized weekly reports on the goods sent to the stores.
Competency:
• Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Able to use the Microsoft Office Packages (minimum of Intermediate Level)
• Excellent Analytical Skills
• Attention to details
• Ability to use initiative
• Ability to work with others
Requirement:
BSc/ HND in any discipline (Post NYSC).
