Simeon's Pivot Resources - Our Client, a Manufacturing Company situated in Ikeja requires the services of a competent, diligent and experienced individual into the below position:
Position: Accountant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Responsibilities
- Prepare budgets regularly and institute effective internal controls, handle transactions with banks, including obtaining bank statements and preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Interface with suppliers, service providers and others on matters regarding accounting records and reconciliations.
- Should be able to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the stores.
- Prepare daily cash analysis and to give profit analysis of the business.
- Manage effective and efficient system of accounting records to capture all costs, income, profits, assets and liabilities of the business.
- Prepare Monthly financial reports (such as income statement, profit and loss account and so on) to guide decision making.
Qualification
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Highly proficient in financial management and accounting tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses, high level of integrity, dependability and results-oriented.
- Minimum of OND in Accounting, student membership of ICAN will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work as an individual and effectively in a team.
- Must be computer literate.
- 1 to 3 years hands-on experience in the accounting functions of a bakery or eatery.
Remuneration
40,000 - 45,000 (Forty Thousand Naira - Forty Five Thousand Naira)
