We are a hospitality company based in Abuja. We seek to fill
this vacant position:
Responsibilities:
• Maintains Brand cleanliness standards for both rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met.
• Administers guest satisfaction inspection procedures and reports.
• Answer phones and operate a switchboard.
• Route calls to specific people.
• Answer inquiries about company.
• Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.
• Choosing rooms and handing out keys
• Preparing bills and taking payments
• Taking and passing on messages to guests
• Dealing with complaints or problems.
• Meets or exceeds hotel guest satisfaction measures.
• Ensures hotel standard and services contribute to the delivery of consistent guest service.
• Maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel.
• Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guest needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest.
• Can communicate to guests about hotel promotions, local attractions and points of interest. Keep up to date with current promotions and hotel pricing, to provide information to guests, on request, while maximizing bedroom sales opportunities
• Understands and implements hotel’s control system.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• A minimum of HND/BSC in a relevant field
• Must live in Abuja
• 3-5 years experience
• Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Must be honest, trustworthy and respectful
• Strong customer service skills
• A friendly and professional telephone manner
• The ability to adapt to different guests
• Patience and tact
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and look after several things at once
• Good problem solving skills
• The ability to use computerized technology
• A methodical approach to your work
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
