IT Service Delivery and Business Customer Manager At Cummins Africa

Job Outline
·         Responsible for ongoing information technology operations. Work with business unit customers, Africa IT leaders, other service owners, corporate architecture and outside suppliers to ensure the delivered services meet cost, quality, and delivery Targets.
·         Direct plan, coordinate and manage Business Information System and internal IT operations of Business unit customers, coordinates, and participates in the delivery of design solutions that are strategic, targeted, engaging and user-centered Ensure IT continuity plan (ITCP).
·         Participates with the business Customers in forecasting trends and long-term planning, implements long-term plans and IT solutions; recommends new or revised standards procedure and policies relating to IT services of business Customers.
·         Provides highly level of support and Business liaison role to the business, and formulate IT project and roadmap in alignment to Africa ABO strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

·         Develops relationships with key customers.
·         Reviews operations delivery and support metrics.
·         Drives continuous improvement.
·         Ensures ongoing service compliance with all company policies and legal requirements.
·         Responsible for executing IT tactical and strategic High level plans for the Business Customer
·         Analyse and translate Voice of Customer, the business Customer strategy and requirements to actionable IT services and solutions.
·         Manage IT services and Solution delivery in alignment with the Business Customer requirements.
·         Manage expectations, Voice of Customer and IT service support for the Business unit.
·         Ensures proactive engagement with the Business unit, to entrench IT as enabler of Business processes.
·         Seek innovative mean of improving the Business Customer’s Business processes with the use of IT tools.
·         Leverage ITFE for service delivery
·         Ensure participation in Business Customers’ meeting and major Business events.
·         Communicates effectively with internal IT Customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
·         Manage IT related communication and information forum eg Best practices forum, IT roadshows, IT publications etc
·         Work with any corporate IT organization to ensure alignment of the Business Customer’s specific IT objectives
·         Communicate IT roadmaps in terms of front office activities (Apps roll-out, Powerswift, tools etc)

Required Skills & Experience:
·         IT Solution Delivery and Service management skills (e.g ITIL® PmBoK ets)
·         ITIL concepts understanding
·         GEIT Concept understanding (eg CoBiT)
·         Collaborative skills
·         Stakeholder Management
·         Communication and presentations skills
·         Projects management (PMBOK)
·         Business Customers and processes understanding
·         Information systems management
·         IT Technical Skills (Infrastructure experience, ERP, BA)
·         Back Office, Front Office and Infrastructures
Compliance and IT security

·         College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required
