The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) of Nigeria. A Non Governmental Organization that champions the cause(s) of Women and Girls, wishes to employ a suitable and qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: National General Secretary 
Location: Nigeria
Requirements

• The candidates must be a female.
• University degree, while a Master’s degree or more advanced qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Stature within the women’s movement, with credible knowledge of ecumenical and international organization.

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years significant experience working with an NGO, faith based organization and the private sector at management level with human rights advocacy being a big plus.
• Competence in the use of computer packages, internet and other relevant, Media packages.
• Ability to write successful projects and having good understanding and proven skills of project management and fund raising.
• Knowledge of how to run a not-for-profit business, manage personnel and finances, enable strategic planning.
