Responsibilities
- As the Social Media Manager you will:
- Ensure that all of the company’s social media and marketing channels are fully exploited to the maximum benefit of the business
- Develop a corporate marketing strategy that incorporates social media and other marketing initiatives
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Conduct daily data analysis of Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. to assess and manage budget spend and ensure optimum exposure
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections with our customers and encourages them to take action
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the:
- company’s social content
- Create editorial calendars and content schedules
- Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Stay abreast of key industry trends, competitive insights and emerging social media / marketing / e-commerce technologies
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven working experience in social media or related field
- Have excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Have demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Have adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
- Have knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
- Awareness of developments in digital marketing and ecommerce
- Have a positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
- A love for fashion or luxury
- Resourceful with positive attitude that thrives in a fast-pace, entrepreneurial environment
- Be degree qualified in Communications, Marketing, Business, or similar
- Be fluent in English with excellent English grammar skills
