Job Title: Chief Accountant 
Location: Lagos 
Experience:

• 6 + years of Relevant experience

Qualification:

• Graduate in Accountancy (Must be proficient in Tally)

Knowledge/skills: 

• Preparation of accurate and timely financial data including assisting with preparation of trial balance; P&L; Balance Sheet etc.
• Ability to generate or raise invoices, liaise with banks, monitor bank deposits and payment & conduct periodical Bank Reconciliation.
• Conduct monthly stocktaking and generate variance report with physical stock taking.
• Establishing and Maintaining Cash Controls: maintaining daily cash; bank position; verifying cash on hand with book balance .
• Assist with debtors management: reconcile debtors & confirm periodic balances; ability to generate periodical debtors ageing statement.
• Ability to book imports & local purchase; monitor supplier outstanding and prepare FX calculations.
• Preparation of salaries and other payroll related functions.
• Knowledge & experience of preparing and filing of Monthly withholding Tax(WHT) and Value added Tax(VAT) returns is preferred.
