Job Title: Chief Geologist
Location: Delta
Job Description 

• An indigenous coal exploration company is seeking experienced professionals to employ as Chief Geologists.

Responsibilities

• The primary role of the Chief Geologist is to technically lead and oversee all aspects of exploration and development programs within the region.
• Assist the exploration projects teams resulting in discovery of economically viable deposits that will have a significant impact on the Company's earnings and growth.

Qualifications and Experience
Key Role Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor of Science (Geology), advanced degree preferred
• Continued professional development and technical training.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess excellent experience in reconnaissance survey.
• Possess good Understanding and recognition of mineralization models and geological processes
• Must be COMEG registered.
• Excellent knowledge of operating and managing drill rig.
• Understanding of economic parameters of mining operations
• Must be experienced in coal stratigraphy and geology,
• Must be good at data acquisition and mapping
