Job Title: Managed Data Services Manager
Location: Nigeria

Job Description    

• Design, create and maintain MTNN database applications in line with the company’s strategies.
• Coordinate and manage the operations of Data/Internet Unit, Satellite NOC and Fixed Exchange (Switching) shift operations in order to effectively and promptly react to all network-related faults.
• Analyze overall network quality and availability, providing useful decision-supporting information to all levels of MTN Management.
• Adapt best practices in network management to suit MTNN’s needs and objectives.
• Ensure proper monitoring and implementation of all network changes according to the organisation process and procedures.
• Ensure prompt response to customer complaints and prompt identification of problems in the network and rectify or advise responsible authority.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly network performance reports.
• Ensure the traffic utilization of all Network Element.
• Responsible for calling out support staff after hours, when necessary.
• Escalate serious and long outstanding faults to the appropriate quarters and ensure escalation procedures are properly adhered to.
• Ensure NMS operation always in NMC environment.
• Establish and maintain well defined and effective communication channels among the NMC, internal and external customers.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to subordinates.
• Provide ideas and feedback on software tools, procedures and improvements to NMC “processes”.
• Provide regular update on MTNN performance and other network issues to the management, call center, sales and distribution, marketing and other relevant department in MTNN.

Job Title: Commercial Legal Advisor

Job Description

• Review legal cases, petitions and internal matters requiring legal input /perspective, consult with all relevant parties, advise on case/petition/legal related matter, provide recommendation on course of action and effectively take appropriate and approved action in accordance with the rules and regulations of MTNN.
• Draft legal agreements and review all relevant documentation supporting contracts for authenticity and validity, reviewing commercial agreements and documentations of transactions.
• Conduct proactive prevention of litigation, ensuring Legal processes and services are effective and efficient in line with defined and approved design and rules.
• Ensure continuous liaison with External Solicitors for regular updates, compliance with procedural rules of court, stipulated time limits for actions, etc. so as to minimize the cost and adverse effect of litigation.
• Administer controls to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and effectively integrate ethics, compliance and preventive law efforts, ensuring MTNN activities are compliant with laid down laws and governing regulations/statutes.
• Settle legal issues between MTNN and 3rd parties, assisting in managing liquidations and disputes.
• Carry out legal (administrative) services work including liaison/correspondence with external bodies and organizations, structuring and negotiating commercial transactions.

Job Title: Windows Enterprise Manager

Job Descriptions

• Contribute to the development of IS Services strategies, providing a roadmap for future infrastructure development and develop detailed plans in support of related strategies, organizing required resources, monitoring and periodically reporting progress of plans.
• Assess resource requirements and assist in preparing the budget for IS Services Operations, as well as prepare information systems technical business cases.
• Direct activities of team of highly technical Windows/Messaging administrators and Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) administrators in order to provide effective and efficient support for Wintel infrastructure.
• Develop and manage team’s objectives and plans and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Manage the design, implementation, administration and support of all aspects of the Wintel infrastructure.
• Proactively review technical architecture, processes, documentation and oversee provisions and suppliers to ensure that services provided are aligned with business needs.
• Prepare management reports and metrics as required and utilize appropriate management tools to monitor operational service status against SLAs and make recommendations where necessary to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage new projects, technology deployments and upgrades into live environment minimising associated risk by ensuring they are carried out in a controlled, timely manner with minimum service downtime.
• Lead incident, problem and change management processes for Windows/Messaging related issues, and co-ordinate preparation of incident reports (as required).
• Co-ordinate Audit and Risk Management related issues/tasks for the Windows Server/Messaging infrastructure.
• Manage and monitor Disaster Recovery operations for Windows and Messaging infrastructure.
• Liaise directly with contractors and manage vendor relationships with respect to server hardware and software.
• Identify training and development needs and manage skills enhancement programmes for the virtual sales team to ensure enterprise sales targets are fully met.

Job Title: Architect: Financial Services and eCommerce

Job Description

• Develop cost effective solutions and innovative approach to meet the business requirements
• Collaborates with the other Architects and the external focus team to ensure data definitions, mappings, and changes are properly coordinated
• Develop the long term e-commerce and financial services strategic plans and implement them in the e-commerce architecture
• Develop standards and guidelines for technical designing based on various business goals
• Undertake the development, maintenance, and governance of the e-commerce and financial services architecture
• Recommend necessary changes in the existing e-commerce application and work for its efficient functioning, revenue generation, and cost savings
• Ensure that ecommerce and financial services implementations are completed according to the architecture designed
• Define standards and guidelines for payment Platforms Financial application, VTUs, & eCommerce e.t.c
• Define enterprise level systems architecture and direct the design and approach to deployment.
• Design scalable applications architecture based on trend analysis of current usage and forecast and benchmark application capabilities based on projected growth.
• Create, maintain, disseminate & validate application development guidelines & standards for all artifacts will facilitate the oversight standardization and future direction of all application development.
• Design the architectural landscape to accomplish cross system objectives and advantageous trade-offs across the ecosystem
• Ensure the alignment of Enterprise Architecture with the business strategy throughout the cycle of innovation, planning and delivery
• Chart roadmap of Technology Infrastructure, Evolution, Emerging Technologies & trends.
• Evaluate developments in architecture in the local and international business environment and recommend value adding improvements to MTNN’s application architecture roadmaps.
• Develop a high level view of current and future state business and solution architecture for E-Commerce Systems that is well connected with business strategy.
• Work with other team members to develop a comprehensive view of all aspects of E-Commerce system architecture
• Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise in various areas such as E-Commerce Systems, Cloud Computing, Systems Integration
• Provide leadership role by participating in Architecture Review conversations to help guide development of ecommerce systems solutions that are strategically aligned to the overall architecture vision
• Work with other IT staff and review business requirements, solution alternatives, and designs and standards compliance and infuse architectural concepts like reusability, standards based, configuration driven, scalable and manageable solutions

Job Title: Senior Process Auditor

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

• Research and analyze financial statement and audit related issues as well as assist the Internal Process Audit Manager in the development of the audit work plan.
• Prepare and conduct work programs for assigned audits assignments.
• Document work done in the form of work papers in accordance with the Internal Audit policies and procedures.
• Work closely with other audit team members to complete each audit exercise until the assignment is completed and wrapped up.
• Draft audit reports to be reviewed by Process Audit Manager and prepare final reports for distribution.
• Collect process related data and statistics from process owners, to determine effectiveness and quality of MTNN services and determine required changes in the processes and practices necessary to provide optimum service in the most cost-effective manner.
• Identify root of business process problems and assist in developing the business case for change, benchmarking and carrying out surveys relating to process operations and improvement.
• Review the performance of Internal Auditor and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
• Oversee and coordinate all technical activities, the activities of Internal Auditor and ensure all transaction and administrative documentation is recorded and available for business use.
• Coach and train Internal Auditor to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets/requirements and increase product knowledge, as well as identify developmental opportunities for team members

Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

• Develop detailed work plans and identify project deliverables and ensure all projects are well defined in terms of detailed project deliverables, milestones and time frames.
• Constitute project team including steering committee and communicate roles and responsibilities, project expectations, scope, deliverables, milestones and resources to all stakeholders including team members
• Deploy and manage resources effectively for the successful execution of IS projects, securing the release of project required resources including project staff and financial resources.
• Coach and train the project team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the project, awareness of set targets/requirements and regularly review their project needs.
• Track, monitor and control all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring project is kept within scope, within budget, of expected quality, risks are identified and mitigated and related contracts are administered effectively.
• Review issues and problems in relation to projects, deal with vendors and administer contracts and identify project risks, as well as recommend actions to mitigate risks.
• Track and document changes project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans and update, prepare, forecast and distribute project status reports to stakeholders.
