Job Title: Senior Process Auditor
Job description
- Research and analyze financial statement and audit related issues as well as assist the Internal Process Audit Manager in the development of the audit work plan.
- Prepare and conduct work programs for assigned audits assignments.
- Document work done in the form of work papers in accordance with the Internal Audit policies and procedures.
- Work closely with other audit team members to complete each audit exercise until the assignment is completed and wrapped up.
- Draft audit reports to be reviewed by Process Audit Manager and prepare final reports for distribution.
- Collect process related data and statistics from process owners, to determine effectiveness and quality of MTNN services and determine required changes in the processes and practices necessary to provide optimum service in the most cost-effective manner.
- Identify root of business process problems and assist in developing the business case for change, benchmarking and carrying out surveys relating to process operations and improvement.
- Review the performance of Internal Auditor and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
- Oversee and coordinate all technical activities, the activities of Internal Auditor and ensure all transaction and administrative documentation is recorded and available for business use.
- Coach and train Internal Auditor to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets/requirements and increase product knowledge, as well as identify developmental opportunities for team members
Desired Skills and Experience
- B.Sc. in any business related discipline, preferably Accounting
- ACA/ACCA
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- CISA, CISM will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 4 years internal audit experience in a reputable organisation with strong internal controls.
- Experience in Process Audit/Internal Audit Practice.
- 2 years in a supervisory role
Job Title: Commercial Legal Advisor x2
Job description
• Review legal cases, petitions and internal matters requiring legal input /perspective, consult with all relevant parties, advise on case/petition/legal related matter, provide recommendation on course of action and effectively take appropriate and approved action in accordance with the rules and regulations of MTNN.
• Draft legal agreements and review all relevant documentation supporting contracts for authenticity and validity, reviewing commercial agreements and documentations of transactions.
• Conduct proactive prevention of litigation, ensuring Legal processes and services are effective and efficient in line with defined and approved design and rules.
• Ensure continuous liaison with External Solicitors for regular updates, compliance with procedural rules of court, stipulated time limits for actions, etc. so as to minimize the cost and adverse effect of litigation.
• Administer controls to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and effectively integrate ethics, compliance and preventive law efforts, ensuring MTNN activities are compliant with laid down laws and governing regulations/statutes.
• Settle legal issues between MTNN and 3rd parties, assisting in managing liquidations and disputes.
• Carry out legal (administrative) services work including liaison/correspondence with external bodies and organizations, structuring and negotiating commercial transactions.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
Job Title: Architect : Financial Services and eCommerce
Job description
- Develop cost effective solutions and innovative approach to meet the business requirements
- Collaborates with the other Architects and the external focus team to ensure data definitions, mappings, and changes are properly coordinated
- Develop the long term e-commerce and financial services strategic plans and implement them in the e-commerce architecture
- Develop standards and guidelines for technical designing based on various business goals
- Undertake the development, maintenance, and governance of the e-commerce and financial services architecture
- Recommend necessary changes in the existing e-commerce application and work for its efficient functioning, revenue generation, and cost savings
- Ensure that ecommerce and financial services implementations are completed according to the architecture designed
- Define standards and guidelines for payment Platforms Financial application, VTUs, & eCommerce e.t.c
- Define enterprise level systems architecture and direct the design and approach to deployment.
- Design scalable applications architecture based on trend analysis of current usage and forecast and benchmark application capabilities based on projected growth.
- Create, maintain, disseminate & validate application development guidelines & standards for all artifacts will facilitate the oversight standardization and future direction of all application development.
- Design the architectural landscape to accomplish cross system objectives and advantageous trade-offs across the ecosystem
- Ensure the alignment of Enterprise Architecture with the business strategy throughout the cycle of innovation, planning and delivery
- Chart roadmap of Technology Infrastructure, Evolution, Emerging Technologies & trends.
- Evaluate developments in architecture in the local and international business environment and recommend value adding improvements to MTNN’s application architecture roadmaps.
- Develop a high level view of current and future state business and solution architecture for E-Commerce Systems that is well connected with business strategy.
- Work with other team members to develop a comprehensive view of all aspects of E-Commerce system architecture
- Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise in various areas such as E-Commerce Systems, Cloud Computing, Systems Integration
- Provide leadership role by participating in Architecture Review conversations to help guide development of ecommerce systems solutions that are strategically aligned to the overall architecture vision
- Work with other IT staff and review business requirements, solution alternatives, and designs and standards compliance and infuse architectural concepts like reusability, standards based, configuration driven, scalable and manageable solutions
- Exposure to Mobile Telecommunications applications – Customer Management & Billing systems, Provisioning, voucher and eCommerce systems etc.
- Any other tasks as assigned
