DKT NIGERIA is set to recruit a Medical Representative based in Ibadan.
Diligently implement the medical detailing program of the organization in the area of responsibility:
- Work closely with the Medical Detailing Manager and the Regional Manager to ensure the Medical Detailing Program is equipped to influence private sector health provider’s behaviour.
- Complete the sales task (target) given by the organization within a specific period of time.
- Visit the hospitals/clinics pharmacies and PPMVs regularly and make sure to recall the prescribed medicines and devices to the healthcare workers as well as also ensure availability of the products.
- Cover all the assigned areas and maintain a list of healthcare providers and customers and build relationship with them, mapping the assigned areas and ensuring adequate distribution.
- Act as a link with the providers and execute the medical detailing objectives, organize trainings and build capacity accordingly.
- Manage the activities of a network of CHEWs (Community Health Extension Workers) within assigned territory.
- Identify and organize capacity building and training as required to the healthcare providers.
- Comply with all policies and strategies of the organization without any fail
- Be aware of any market changes and he/she should provide the market/working feedback to the organization
- Building the organization’s image in the respective working areas and territories.
The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and Medical Detailing Manager.
Job Requirements
Required Experience: 3-5 year(s)

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology/Biological Sciences
- Minimum of 4 years medical detailing experience with a multinational pharmaceutical company
- - Be prepared to travel frequently within the territory
- - Must possess a high level of integrity and responsibility
- - Advanced presentation, analytical and communication skills (oral and written)
- - Should be market oriented
- - Advanced computer skills – Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- - Strong customer service, interpersonal skills and professional demeanour
