The West African Examinations Council, a sub-regional organisaton responsible for the conduct of a variety of examinations in English-speaking West African countries, invites applications from suitably qualified candidate to fill the vacant position below in its Nigeria National Office:

Position: Public Affairs Officer​

Qualification and Experience

• Applicants should possess a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication (at least Second Class Lower Division) from a recognised University.
• At least three (3) years post NYSC experience in the Public Affairs Department of a reputable organization or in the editorial department of a reputable media outfit.
• Possession of higher Degree and membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations will be an added advantage.
• Applicants who have not majored in Mass Communication but who possess Graduate Diploma in Mass communication are also eligible.

• Be self motivated and have the ability to write good reports
• Be able to work with little or no supervision
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player.

Position: Legal Officer

• LLB (at least Second Class Lower Division) and a B.L and must be a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, with a minimum of three (3) years post NYSC qualification experience.
