Job Description:
CLIENT Linum Consult's client is an international firm well established in Africa. They are looking for a Fleet Manager for a mining project in Senegal. Based on site on a rotational basis, the candidate will be responsible for: Supervising the preventive maintenance works for a fleet of mining equipment, and managing the assignments on a day to day basis Ensuring that high machine availability is maintained for optimum performance Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, identifying potential contract warranties changes and/or deviations Proactively approaching any problems on site, reporting any difficulties in a timely manner Hands-on mechanical training, including some basic structured classroom training Participating in daily site management meetings
PROFILE: Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering At least 5 years of technical experience, preferably with the maintenance of mining equipment Excellent communication skills in both English and French African experience is preferable FINANCIAL PACKAGE There is an excellent salary on offer, with a rotation of 8 weeks on; 4 weeks off.
