Job Title: Information Technology Systems Administrator
Experience: This position requires a minimum 3+ years of system administration of a corporate IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Resolve technical problems with networking, server, desktop/laptop computing equipment and software
- Telco Billing System administration and support.
- Manage cabling infrastructure and topologies.
- ManageVMware ESX, backup/restore applications, Linux, antivirus, VOIP.
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, User Access and Email Administration
- Provide local and remote support to LAN/WAN users.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics and evaluations to determine solutions and alternatives to enterprise applications.
- Set up and manage server based printing
- Prioritize projects, issues and tasks that frequently change and escalate accordingly.
- Provide after-hour support and weekend support when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with a minimum 2:1 grade.
- A minimum 3 years of relevant experience with industry certifications an advantage.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential.
- MS Office Products, Windows desktop and Server configuration and management
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS
- Active Directory configuration and management best practices
- VOIP, VMware, Storage Area Network (SAN), MS-SQL Server, Linux/Unix management a plus
- Telco Billing System administration an advantage.

Senior Regional Engineer has to play key role in building & maintaining Wireless Network in assigned Region. The Engineer must have excellent wireless network rollout management skills. The Engineer must have understanding of end-end Wireless Radio Access and Core network. The Individual should have good time management skills of delivering the project on time and managing the available resources in optimized manner. Senior Region Engineer will work within the Network Project group in close liaison with Central Project, Central Network Operations, Sales and Customer Support Departments.

Major Purpose and Deliverables:
Senior Region Engineer will be mainly responsible for,
- Management of network Rollout in assigned Region
- Timely Execution of Project & Contingency Plans for timely completion
- Liaison with all local authorities to get required permit for network rollout
- Base station site acquisition and site built management
- Technical design of SWIFT Own Site Built by taking in to consideration all present and future requirement
- Liaison with all collocation site vendors for acquisition of site for renting
- Management of Collocation site vendors to maintain the power up time of the Base station
- Management of Region Engineering teams which includes both field & core support, customer engineering support teams.
- Management of Region network Operations to maintain 99.999% uptime of the network
- Optimization management of Deployed Network to meet Engineer KPI's.
- Performing regular health checks for Access and Core network
- Preparing daily / weekly / monthly performance reports
- Preparing BoQ / BoM for network Rollout & Operations
- Interacting with Central Core, Access and NOC departments and coming up with collaborated strategies for network evolution
- Act as a mentor for the younger engineers
- Issuing, discussing and/or implementation of recommendations for network improvement
Qualifications and Qualities
- Hands On experience of Site Built, Base station RF and Microwave installation, Core Network equipment Hardware Installation, Power Installation for Base station, Power Installation for Datacenter
- Handling of Multi-vendor Equipment Experience
- Excellent Communication & Negotiation skills
- MS-Office skills
- Ability to work independently and to build up good team relations
- Self-motivated, flexible and capable to supervise teams in field and office
- Minimum 3 year of documented experience of management of telecom Engineering services work in field of network Rollout / network operation
- Min education level required Bachelor degree in communication science or related discipline with cumulative grading equal or greater than Second class Upper division ( 2-1)
