Research Engineer

Job Summary
  •     Research Engineers apply their expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve research, techniques, procedures, and/or products and technologies.
  •     Responsibilities include developing, conducting, and evaluating new approaches to meet project objectives faster and more efficiently.
  •     This position reports to the Program Manager.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  •     Develop and commercialize products and technologies.
  •     Initiate approaches and low-cost innovations to maintain technical leadership.
  •     Prepare cost estimates and continually analyze design variables.
  •     Build prototypes, products, and systems for testing.
  •     Ensure final product meets needs as defined by project.
  •     Design testing procedures and coordinate testing to identify problems and solutions.
  •     Conduct tests, document test results, and develop client presentation.
  •     Provide user training and technical support.
  •     Coordinate and communicate work effort within organization.
  •     Identify and keep abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.
  •     Assist in publication of papers and applications for patents.
Qualifications
  •     Master's degree in sciences or engineering or equivalent experience.

Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
  •     The Mechanical Technician assumes a high level of responsibility early, supporting our field teams in their delivery of client services. Successful Mechanical Technicians are fast learners and self-motivated, independent workers. They have the ability to work under pressure and the willingness to work in varying conditions.
  •     Mechanical Technicians receive intensive training in troubleshooting, technical procedures, and safety.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  •     Responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and hydraulic- and diesel-powered equipment.
  • Skill-level requirements vary from basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to component replacement.
Qualifications
  •     Minimum of a diploma, certification, or associate's degree in diesel or hydraulics technology or equivalent formal military technical training.

Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary
  •     The Maintenance Engineer enhances service quality and equipment reliability by improving workflows and optimizing maintenance processes using Lean Six Sigma practices and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology.
  •     This position, a key link between the field maintenance organization and the engineering and manufacturing centers, provides input to improve equipment design, reliability, and maintainability.
  •     The Maintenance Engineer has a critical role in connecting field operations with the maintenance organization, helping minimize downtime and failure rates and maximize equipment productivity.
  •     This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  •     Identifies and captures opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.
  •     Uses Lean Six Sigma and RCM concepts to optimize work processes, adapt maintenance tools and procedures to improve equipment utilization and reliability, and minimize service quality incidents.
  •     Keeps current with latest equipment, technologies, and maintenance methods.
  •     Promotes importance of data and service quality within maintenance community.
  •     Assists with development and coaching of junior maintenance staff.
  •     Supports Maintenance Manager and Location Manager in planning for equipment and maintenance resources and correcting existing discrepancies.
  •     Ensures application of asset management and maintenance systems data and accurate, timely data entry and reporting.
  •     Participates in technical audits and compliance assessments, and follows up on closure of remedial action plans.
Qualifications
  •     Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science.
  •     Aptitude for hands-on work coupled with strong analytical skills.

Field Specialist Trainee

  •     Successful Field Specialist Trainees think methodically under pressure and work well without supervision.
  •     They strive for perfection, like working outdoors in challenging environments, and do not mind being away from home for extended periods.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  •     Acquire familiarity, to level needed to perform duties, with assigned business line's range of services and products and their relationship to those of other business lines.
  •     Achieve functional and technical skills required for assignments.
  •     Assist in planning, preparation, and executing jobs to design and client specifications with goal of 100% service delivery.
Qualifications
  •     Depending on assignment, usually 2-year technical degree or military experience.
  •     Good verbal and written communication skills.
